Meet The Team

Michael

Mike is the owner and Managing Director of the company.

He has many years of experience in the removal industry both home and abroad, he knows everything you need a removal company to know about removals. Mike has lived and travelled in many parts of the world, he speaks and reads Swedish and German.

He has adapted all he learned from the Scandinavian removals business to offer our customers total clarity, no hidden surprises. He is honest as the day is long. Being ex-army, he has organisational and leadership skills and is calm no matter what the crisis.

Mike not only will be the face you see at your removal survey; he will be the planner of your move and the answer to all your removal needs.

Beverley

Bev is not only the Senior office and Sales administrator but personal assistant and secretary to Mike.

She has many years, too many to mention, experience in customer service and administration. Once Mike has completed your survey, he will pass everything onto Beverley who will prepare your quote, organise the diary and be the first point of contact when you have any queries or questions regarding your quotation and move and payments. On the rare in instance, you have a complaint Beverley will be the point of contact and deal with the complaint in a professional timely fashion.

Whether your move is home or abroad Beverley will be the one you talk to.

Shelby

Sales Administration

Shelby has chosen to learn her career of Sales Administration with Strongman. Removals and Storage. She is a fast learner and has been trained by Beverley and Mike, she understands the ethic of the team and will do her very best to help you by quoting your removal.

Shelby may be the first voice you hear when you call the office or if you have been online checking out removals, she will call you. She will invite you to have a survey with Mike face to face. She may also be the person who does your “WhatsApp Survey”.

John

Removals team leader

John is a removals team leader, he over 10 years experience in the customer facing side of the removals industry. He has always been a big hit with all of our customers due to his friendly helpful nature.

Like all of the team he leads he is hard working and conscientious and a bit of a laugh too. A perfect antidote to moving day stress.

We have two team members named John, which is not at all confusing when ordering the coffees!

John a removals team leader has plenty of experience as a removal porter and driver. He has worked for other removal companies before joining Strongman and is a hard worker, he just gets the job done.

He is calm and has an award-winning smile, that has been complimented on by many of our customers.

We used them for a pack and move service. They arrived the day before completion to start packing, before loading the vans on the completion day.Pros:Highly responsive, friendly, well priced, got the job done!Cons:Very late leaving the property we had sold on the date of completion. Should have done more packing the day before/planned slightly better. It was embarassing to be keeping the new owners of our old house waiting for so long.

Perhaps not totally straight forward, an art studio move from ground floor to second floor, but all was done with timely efficiency, and care - nothing damaged (apart from one grazed knuckle!). They moved the furniture 2 days later with a time frame to suit myself. Upon arrival they were friendly and professional, went above and beyond to assist with reassembling the furniture. Very impressed with Strongman Removals. We managed to get lucky with booking them at short notice. Mike came out to our house and surveyed what we needed to move and explained all about what would happen on moving day - which was helpful as this was a new experience for us. We found it very helpful and made us feel easier that there was always somebody we could reach by phone. On the morning we received a call letting us know what time to expect them and they arrived on time. Can not speak highly enough of this business.Our move was not perfect, with a lot of let downs by other parties meaning our move date changed numerous times - but Strongman did not let us down at all.Clear with their communication, early to the job and all the pressure of moving was taken away along with some laughter as well. 100% fantastic experience start to finish!Beverly was exceptional with the telephone interactions, she is knowledgeable, understanding and willing to help with even the most trivial queries.I had a very professional video call with Mike who assessed our moving needs and provided us with a highly competitive quote. I highly recommended taking the boxes Mike supplies as they are far stronger and better quality then any other I found.On moving day, John and Aaron were the cherry on the cake! After a a super stressful search for a removals company on the 18th December, I came across Strongman Removals who luckily had one slot available for such a busy date. From the get go they were super responsive, and really understanding about our date not being confirmed until last minute. I highly recommend them! Can't recommend these guys enough. From start to finish they were such a support during what I can only describe as a very stressful time. We were given one weeks notice to move and Mike was on the doorstep with boxes within hours and fit us in, so we could move on the day given to us. They were so professional throughout the day despite being delayed on the hottest day of the year, and left waiting! Nothing was a problem and didnt leave until we were all settled in. Smashing job and a great team of guys, who we were thoroughly thankful to! I have always hired a van and moved house myself, but never again thanks to the team at Strongman Removals & Storage. They were brilliant from start to finish. Myself and my partner moved from Kidderminster to Norwich and were very nervous about letting other people handle our precious belongings. I had Mike come over and give me a quote, he was patient, attentive and empathetic which helped put our nerves to rest. He took his time to explain to us what would happen on the day, their insurance coverage and offered to supply boxes and tape and everything in between at a fair price. We were quoted just shy of £800 for the whole move which after receiving quotes from other removal firms was the most reasonable. On the day, they were punctual, polite and committed to the job like a duck to water. They took extra care with sentimental items, wrapping them in protective material before being loaded. Some of the most professional work I've come across and definitely 10/10 on customer service. I would strongly recommend to use them for removals. I'll be keeping their number for the future 👍
